He currently serves as a technical lead at Water & Sanitation for Urban Populations (WSUP), where he leads initiatives to strengthen sanitation services and promote inclusive water access in Nakuru County, Kenya.
With a strong background in utility operations and sanitation sector reforms, Harry has been instrumental in advancing simplified sewer systems, city-wide inclusive sanitation (CWIS), and regulatory frameworks that enhance service provision for underserved urban communities. His work involves collaborating with utilities, local governments, and communities to implement sustainable and financially viable water and sanitation solutions.
Before joining WSUP, Harry played a key role in WASH sector development while working with Naivasha’s water service provider (NAIVAWASCO), focusing on expanding water and sanitation access in low-income areas. He has also been an active participant in the Sustainable Urban Water and Sanitation (SUWAS) program, a Sida-funded initiative that has trained and connected WASH professionals across Africa and Asia to drive sector-wide improvements.
A strong advocate for public-private partnerships and innovation in sanitation, Harry is committed to leveraging policy, technology, and institutional capacity-building to improve water and sanitation services.
