Leave a gift in your Will
Thank you for considering leaving a gift in your Will to the WSUP Charity.
Your gift of affordable clean water and sanitation services will change the
future of whole communities for years to come.
Gifts in Wills, known as Legacy Gifts, support long-term sustainable change in some of the world’s poorest and most deprived communities.
These generous and thoughtful gifts help to create a future where everyone can enjoy affordable clean water, safe toilets, improved hygiene and the opportunity to thrive.
After you have looked after your family and loved ones, please will you consider a gift in your Will to the WSUP Charity?
No matter the size, a gift left in your Will will transform lives, building a brighter future for other families.

Clean water ensures a healthier future for Beatrice and her children
Beatrice, a 48-year-old resident of Asankare, Ghana, spent countless hours each day fetching water from unsafe sources.
This arduous task, often shared by her children, exposed them to waterborne diseases and limited their opportunities for education and other activities. The burden of finding clean water weighed heavily on the entire community.
Thanks to a generous donation, a new mechanized borehole was installed in Asankare, bringing clean, safe drinking water to the 4,000 residents of the town.
The availability of clean water has led to fewer cases of waterborne diseases, ensuring healthier and happier families. Beatrice and other women can now explore new economic opportunities, and their children are free to concentrate on their education.
Your love lives on.
Your Will is one of the most important documents you will ever write. A Will provides peace of mind, knowing your loved ones are provided for and your final wishes are respected. Once your loved ones have been taken care of, a Will also enables you to continue to support causes that are important to you, making an impact that will continue into the future.
There are three main ways you can include a gift in your Will to the WSUP Charity:
- A share of your estate: after you have considered your friends, family, and loved ones, you may wish to consider leaving the WSUP Charity a percentage of your remaining estate. This is known as a residuary gift.
- A cash gift: you may wish to consider a stated sum of money to leave to the WSUP Charity. This is known as a pecuniary gift, and can be index-linked to safeguard its value.
- A specific item: you may wish to leave a specific item such as a property, art work, jewellery or shares to the WSUP Charity.
Whatever gift you choose to leave, your legacy will have a lasting impact.
