In-memory or celebration
Thank you for considering a donation to the WSUP Charity in memory or celebration of your loved one.
Your kind gift is a wonderful way to honour your loved one’s life and memory.
Your support today can help people living in the most challenging conditions around the world to access affordable clean water and hygiene facilities.
There are a number of ways you can celebrate or remember a loved one.
Make a one-off donation
When you make a donation online, you will be given the opportunity to leave a written tribute to your loved one, which will appear with your donation. If you’re ready to, you can make a tribute donation now.
Organise a funeral collection
You might choose to ask friends and family to make donations at a funeral or to make a donation instead of sending flowers – this is a lovely way to honour the memory of a loved one and make a life-changing difference to others. Many funeral directors will be happy to organise collections on your behalf. If you would like any advice on organising a funeral collection, please feel free to contact our fundraising manager, Emma: fundraising@wsupcharity.org.

“I have not heard of a sick child recently”
“Since the sewerage project was introduced, we have benefitted. Before that we had no toilets, people had to pay to use the few toilets available. The environment was dirty because people would throw faeces all over. But now, we have seen change.”
“Water was also not available, we were buying at a high cost. You had to ensure cash was available to pay for water and for using toilets. It was expensive especially for those with small children and families. The sewerage project has benefited us since we no longer have to pay for these services.”
“The area around me would be very dirty but with water available, it is easier to sweep and keep it clean. We never had toilets inside the plots, but with the sewerage projects, plots now have toilets. Diseases like cholera would affect people and kids, but they have reduced drastically, I have not heard of a sick child in the area recently. The water project has helped us to keep the toilets clean. Water is now free and available all the time”.
