Why not make your birthday extra special this year?
Instead of yet more unnecessary socks, bath salts or candles, you can pledge your birthday to the WSUP Charity and bring gifts of joy to others across the world.
A birthday pledge is an exciting way to celebrate and spread love on your birthday.
Instead of their usual gifts, just let your friends and family know that you would like them to make a donation to the WSUP Charity instead.
It doesn’t cost you anything to pledge your birthday, all you need to do is create your pledge, share with your loved ones, and know that your combined kindness will make an incredible difference.
By donating your birthday money to the WSUP Charity, you can help bring affordable and safe, clean water to people living in densely populated urban slums, where children’s lives are at risk from waterborne bacterial diseases such as cholera.
You can give the gift of a birthday fundraiser by:

A year after Mozambique was hit by two deadly cyclones, communities in Beira still lacked access to clean water.
For residents like Henriqueta Luís, a mother of three living in one of the worst affected areas, the shortage of clean, safe water has a massive impact on daily life.
“Sometimes the water that we drink is unclean. This results in diarrhoea, vomiting and cholera.”
Until WSUP intervened, Henriqueta was forced to walk up to an hour to find clean water to keep her children safe.
With your help, WSUP can continue working with communities affected by natural disasters to help secure water systems and reconnect low-income communities with the water network.
