Fátima Mussá is the Country Manager for Mozambique, bringing over 11 years of experience in the water sector. She joined WSUP in 2020 as Programme Impact Manager before stepping into her current leadership role.
A Civil Engineer by training, Fátima holds a Bachelor’s degree from Eduardo Mondlane University in Mozambique and a Master of Science in Water Science and Engineering from IHE Delft in the Netherlands. Her career has been dedicated to water resource management, hydrology, and the development of water and sanitation infrastructure. She has worked extensively as a consultant and project manager, leading key initiatives to improve access to safe water and sanitation in Mozambique’s urban areas.
Beyond her role at WSUP, Fátima is also a lecturer and researcher at Eduardo Mondlane University, where she teaches hydrology, hydraulics, and hydraulic structures. Her contributions to academia and practice have positioned her as a thought leader in Mozambique’s WASH sector.
